Description
The Northwest Arctic Borough School District utilized a Design-Build/Best-Value competitive procurement to award this project. The District determined that Bethel Services offered the Best-Value based on past-performance, qualifications, and price, and was contracted to construct a 10,400 SF addition and renovate the existing 5,600 sf facility.
The new school included a large gymnasium, an expanded and improved kitchen/cafeteria area, library/computer area, additional classrooms, a new fire sprinkler system and extensive mechanical and electrical upgrades throughout.
