This task order is comprised of a diverse set of tasks varying greatly in scope. Included in this list of tasks is updating base-wide compliance plans including Asbestos Management Plan (AMOP) update, Lead-based Paint Management Plan (LBMP) update, and Spill-Prevention and Response Plan (SPRP) update. To accomplish these plan updates, Bethel conducted a rigorous regulatory review to ensure the plans were compliant with the multitude of applicable regulatory standards and requirements including the Japan Governing Standards (JEGS), US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requirements, Air Force Instructions (AFIs), as wells as best management practices. Verification and validation of geographic information systems (GIS) data as well as SPRP control measure evaluations were conducted to support these plan updates. Asbestos sampling was conducted during a site visit to Yokota AB in support of the AMOP update.
